How To Make Your Own Daily Shower Spray

Homemade shower spray

Make your own daily shower cleaner for pennies.

I don’t know about you but, I’m getting tired off paying $4-$5 every couple weeks, for daily shower spray! I knew there had to be a cheapier way to keep my glass shower clean from soap scum, hard water, and mildew.

So, I got my kitchen lab all set up to do some experimenting, safety glasses included. I already knew the power of hydrogen peroxide, but what if I added a few other things to boost it’s cleaning superpowers. Rubbing alcohol can get out ink stains so that one was on my shortlist.

Here’s what I ended up with after experimenting with a few concoctions.

  1. 1/2 cup Hydrogen peroxide 3%
  2. 1/2 cup Rubbing Alchohol
  3. 1 tsp Dawn
  4. 1 T dishwasher rinse aid
  5. 3 cups of water
  6. 1 tsp good smelling handsoap

Add everything to an amber-colored spray bottle and shake well. The reason you need to store in the amber spray bottle is because the hydrogen peroxide will oxidize and become ineffective if it’s stored in a clear bottle .

Use everyday after your shower, the same way you would the store bought kind.
